As in all medium sized stables horses come and others go.Newcomers to the band of hope,include two ex-kiwis by the rising stallion,WASHINGTON VC.Both have won at Albion Park Tuesday meetings and appear to have a bright future.LOYAL is a 5yo gelding,and OUR NEENAH,a 4yo mare.In the trotting department,ROWAN,formerly with Peter McKay at Marburg is on his way back after a short spell.A very consistent earner while in Peter's care,ROWAN will put pressure on the stable to produce similar results.Also in the trotting department,main owner,KATHRYN,has a nice filly foal by SIERRA KOSMOS from POWDERHALL GIFT.Pacing foals on the ground are fillies by PB BULLVILLE from GAY MAME and LADY PENOLA..

Middle Park trot stable is the joint enterprise of Denis and Elizabeth Smith,and is situated at 668 Middle road,Purga,Queensland,Australia.4306.Comprising 17.3 hectares or 44 acres,Middle Park can accomodate up to 14 horses in work.We have a 600 metre all weather crusher dust training track incorporating a 7 metre rise.We currently have a mixed team of 4 trotters and 6 pacers,including,TOMMY BROWN (T),SOMBRERO (P),PIPER FINDLAY(P) and SINGLE MALT(P),and promising trotter MY OSCAR.Horses to have carried the Middle Park banner in the past have included,multiple metropolitan winner,SUNSETT,as well as record breaking trotters KANO SALUTE, and EDALEX SAM.
Staff comprises,Denis(trainer),Elizabeth(strapper,main raceday manager),Neil(stables etc) Kathryn(major owner).Stable security,BEANS and SOCKS.

Stable star,SOMBRERO,just holds off sprint lane specialist GADZOOKS to take out the M2 at Albion Park on June 17.Mile rate was best of the night from six races over the 1660 metres,a respectable 1.56.8.That was 18 wins for the stable in 20 months.Kathryn was delighted.
