The beatifully marked "BULLSEYE" with Donald Ross in the sulky.

WHATABOUTME (Ryan Veivers) and TANGO (Karina Veivers) weigh in after a close fought finish.Ryan was as much chuffed by training the quinella as driving the winner.

Karina Veivers, arriving at the races minus skull cap,was able to borrow a replacement from Natalie Rasmussen. From one Inter-Dominion winning head to another---very appropriate..

Here they are. This collection of descendants from Celtic warriors have previously been hard to catch in the one place at one time. The faces give warning of their fierce competitve spirit, and their reluctance to be photographed.LEONE got 'em..

Opening race for 2007 went the way of MIDNGHT,trained and reined by NARISSA McMULLEN,a future "sulky sitter" for the JOHN McMULLEN stable at Glamorganvale..2nd was PALEFACE KATIE from 200 metres with cool dude HAYDEN GREEN (scroll down) looking pleased at the result..

LEONARD CAIN,never one to shirk a challenge, tries on what looks very much like his mate,RYAN VEIVERS' colours.LEONARD is presenting his business plan here-- based on steady growth.

Race 2 at the Rock went to JEFF,with ISOBEL ROSS in the sulky.Second placegetter was FATTY FINN with KEEGHAN SEFTON driving. After nearly 12 months "out of the money",FATTY and KEEGHAN might be about to get some reward for the "hard yards" they have been doing.

Promotably colored pony,PALEFACE KATIE and splendidly turned out driver,HAYDEN GREEN,captured striding out at the Rock.Quite seriously, this is a minaturised "BLAST FROM THE PAST"

Standing starts--driver practise and pony education. This should ensure well rounded driving skills on the racetracks of the future.

Looking like a centipede with a few wheels for additional support, the 28 ponies present and correct for the first training day are captured in just one "LEONEpic"Things look bright for the future.
