LAUREN JONES,not long down from Rocky, was in the money with a fine 2nd at her first official start.ZORRO, the equine half of the equation, should be right there with a bit of solid racing.

LAUREN JONES,not long down from Rocky, was in the money with a fine 2nd at her first official start.ZORRO, the equine half of the equation, should be right there with a bit of solid racing.

ELLIE SOMMER and BLACK (color co-ordinated) FLASH posted a milestone at Albion Park last Saturday. The first of what we hope are many more DOUBLES.LEONE CAM caught ELLIE just before the watermelon grin.

Head on shot from " LEONE CAM"shows TEAGAN VEIVERS leading with sister KARINA in the perfect trail. The ears are all that can be seen of KARINA'S mount.

Chloe Bertram got off to a briliant start in the mini-trotter business with a win on SUNDANCER at her first official appearance. It doesn't get much better.

No big margins here with runners spread across the track in the closing stages of race 3 at the Rock.

Beautifully turned out for the event,BRIANNA MANZELMANN and JUST JIM complete with justly deserved trophies after race 3 at the Rock.JUST JIM beat TANGO driven on this occasion by MATT ELKINS for RYAN VEIVERS.Last week I told you ELKINS sat in the cart like a professional--this week he's a catch driver.Progress.

MICHAELA MANZELMANN after trialling MIDNIGHT JAZZ at the Rock last Saturday."Jazz" had played up at his last start,so Michaela, with a strong family history in the game behind her,did the sensible thing...Practice makes perfect.

JESS MANZELMANN and SPADOINKLE race away with the Cup Final at Rocklea last Saturday.JESS only won one final last season, this just might be her year. The smile would have been pretty big,I reckon.

MAT ELKINS and MISS TUPPENCE taking out a heat of the feature at the Rock last Saturday. The form held up in the Final with a good second to SPADOINKLE.

This pic shows a heap of newcomers to the mini ranks, drivers and ponies starting their learning curve in a trial. The more the merrier.

BILLIE CARKEET reassuring BOB after "tasting" the track in a dust-up on the home turn at the Rock.No drivers or ponies were the least bit deterred by the incident. It was dust off and business as usual.

Brianna Manzelmann and JIM the other half of a two horse pile-up on the home turnNo damage here either.

DANIELLE McDOUGALL and VANILLA.Heat 2 and Final of the EASTER CUP.This "LEONEPIC" just captures one of the best moments in a little pony drivers career.

Another happy face,JESS MANZELMANN holding SPADOINKLE.Together they took out heat 3 of the Marburg pony feature.Still very green,"SPUD" will make a name for himself and his driver when he finishes his apprenticeship.

The Elkins boys,MATT and JUSTIN ,rack up a quinella in the first heat of the Cup.Not the first 1--2 finish, and it won't be the last.

LaAce DeVries and her old tutor DENNIS THE MENACE.Formerly attached to team McMullen, and regular drive for PETE,"DTM" has been a big factor in the driving future of LaAce,who is currently attending the trainer/driver course at Hendra on Monday nights under the tutelage of Neale Scott. It's all go from here on.

Snow white KENNY GO has been the backbone of the extended Veivers family assault on mini-trotter racing.RYAN,KARINA and TEAGAN all had their first race drive behind the round and curly coated gentleman. He has done a great job.
